Last year when I went to Berlin I had the pleasure of shooting with Widget again and despite her very busy schedule she made some time for me which I am very thankful for.
With the wonderful Franzi. I have had this idea in my head and I still need to work on it a bit until I get closer to the full idea though. I really like the outcome of this though. Love the idea of the brush-strokes on skins, when different textures, colors and so on. Funny enough last year I shot something similar to this too, which I will post soon-ish here, too. So keep an eye on the Blog.
More of Franzi! I normally don’t do a lot of editing outside of Lightroom and I hate beauty retouching beyond some very basic stuff, but sometimes it’s just fun to play around with Photoshop and test the limits of Lightroom and so on. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
From a series of sets with the wonderful Franzi. peace out.
Shot with these lights before with Dina and while shooting with Olga we just switched over to the mirror in our hallway. Et voila…
Yes yes, I’m trying to be a bit funny here. Shooting with Olga was a blast and I think it shows. I am a bit busy with some personal stuff at the moment that really takes most of my energy, but the creative juices, as they say, are flowing and that process luckily helps to clear the head in between and to move forward. The goal for this year still is to shoot more. More personal and more client work. Hope you are all well and can enjoy your weekend. Teymur
End of last year I had the great pleasure of finally meeting and working with Olga Maria Kaminska. We shot a couple of beautiful sets. All shot in my “home studio”, as far as you can call it that at the moment. Hair and Makeup by the talented Katarzyna Jeziorowski. 😀 Fun times, even more fun results. Minimum to none retouching on all of them. Just don’t feel like it anymore. I hope you like them as much as I do. First set just coming up. more tk. kind regards, Teymur.
I was playing around in Photoshop a bit and trying some stuff and remembered I had these photos lying in last years Lightroom library. One thing added to the other and bandaning badabum we have a nice LoFi (80s/VHS) effect.
I really need to posts this quicker than this. Hope you like these as much as I do. A spontaneous set in an unplanned location. Planning is everything as they say, but a surprise here and there can’t hurt either.
From that very efficient and fun day last year with the wonderful Olga Kobzar. You can find the first post here. I had the idea for this the second I saw the location. I wasn’t sure how far I wanted to take the editing, but I found a good measure for my first step away from Lightroom only editing after a long long time. Obviously apart from skin retouching every now and then. Really a direction I feel very good about. I will keep exploring. get back to telling more stories, even small made up ones. more to come soon.
Last year, just by chance I stumbled over a few photo sets of Olga and knew that I wanted to work with here at some point. As luck seemed to be on my side Olga was going to be kind of close by for a photo workshop and we were able to arrange a shoot together. I am very happy with the results and I hope you will be too. Here the first set we shot. I want to talk more about photography with you guys and anyone who is interested. Communicate my process, talk about the technical side, gear, post processing…
The second set I shot with Agnes last year in Berlin. You might remember this post from a while back. Still using just one light, different room, that’s it.
Hanging out with Johanna Liana and Ben Hammer on a warm summer afternoon with a few hours to kill stuff like this happens… Enjoy!
It has been some time and you are about to get hit hard! Leila Lowfire is back and we’re going to rock your world. There is a lot of stuff coming up in the next few weeks, too. I was home for a while now and had time to work through a lot of stuff that fell somewhat behind. From a lot more model work to road trips, travel work, Hasselblads and so on. You are in for a ride, but for now enjoy the photos I took of Leila last year. Set three of five that I have posted here….
Back when I was in NYC for the MBRT15 Roadtrip I wanted to at least do one model shoot and was very lucky to have VerjinyaLee recommended to me. What a fun shoot and I think it shows. I am very happy with the results, especially as we only shot for quite a short amount of time. Always so much fun to create beautiful work with great people. Check out her portfolio over at http://verjinyalee.tumblr.com and let me know what you think.
Another multi-part shoot from one of my visits to Berlin last year. A very basic setup. A Rotalux Deep-Octa with a grid on a tiny lightstand. Not much more to say really. Same trip and location like my shoot with Leila.
As promised last week this week is going to keep bringing you more and more beautiful photos! Lets switch to color for now. If you want to see more of Leilas work, head over to her site and say hi. Have a great day!
When visiting Berlin for a trip with a friend of mine I had the pleasure of shooting with Leila. As with Nikys shoot we spent a couple of hours shooting with different outfits in a Studio space in Berlin. These are the first of a beautiful series of results. A lot more to come, including some shots from my Hasselblad 500cm and my Fuji Instax. Enjoy! Oh and make sure to visit Leilas Page for more of her work.
After the first post with Karina and the second one short after that come now the third. That was one well spent afternoon on that rooftop of ours. Make sure to visit here page and show your support! Karina Syndicus!
I had the pleasure of shooting with Nikola on the last day of Photokina. My bro Ben hooked us up last minute with a Hotelroom as my two other locations fell through. It was a fun shoot, we got some nice sets and this is the first one. All shot with natural light. Simple RAW-Conversions and some basic retouching. Hope you enjoy this series and thanks to Nikola for a great shoot and to Ben for helping me out with the room and while shooting!!!
