Time is just flying by. It was mid September when Mandy came by the Studio for a little photo-shoot. Call it a getting-to-know-each-other-shoot. We had had a fantastic time. There needs to be laughter on set every now and then, you have to have fun or its not worth it in my opinion. With Mandy there was a lot of that for sure and the photos we produced are just spectacular. Shot with the same lighting setup I used for the Fredau shoot. Also with the variable ND Filter by Singh Ray to get the shallow depth of field while using the flashes. I know, you could use the modelling lights, or hot hotlights, but using the flashes gives me higher shutter-speeds and I actually prefer that. As the depth of field is so shallow, you need to pay attention for getting the Focus right even more already, having to worry about slow shutter-speeds is just an extra hassle. Well you could use it as a style and so on… as there is no right or wrong in this of course, but for me this was the right setup for this shoot.
Thank you Mandy for a very fun shoot and some wonderful photos.
As a little Bonus I shot a few shots with My Hasselblad 500 c/m.
And my Lomo LCA+. I think something went wrong with the FIlms though :-). ah well, still nice.
Have a great week.
