One of the greatest things we did or places we visited, certainly was the Hoover Dam. The sheer size is intimidating and the thought of it being built in a time where construction machines weren’t anywhere close to what we have now, just amazing.

On top of that the architecture is beautiful and the art deco just breathtaking. At least when you are into art deco like me.

Also a place where I could spend a lot of time taking pictures, also at night it might be a very nice place for that. Maybe with some lightpainting.

And I also like the fact that even though a lot of people where visiting, it never felt overrun or touristy… strange how that works.

Next I will take the tour through the Hoover Dam for sure. That might be a very interesting tour.

As a strange, but still fun, contrast we dropped by Calico, the “Ghost Town”. Haha reminded me of those extremely exploited small castles around Europe. Still fun, as the weather was perfect and not a lot of people where visiting.
