as about the same time last year this year again europe’s biggest and and best web conference, leweb. entrepreneurs, journalists, investors and bloggers come together and are given the chance to learn, communicate and succeed.
and this year again I was in the wonderful position to be invited by geraldine to photograph leweb10 as part of the leweb team. a wonderful opportunity as not only does it give me a great chance for good photos, but I also meet the most amazing, fascinating and kind people from all around the world. and from all over the different businesses and enterprises of and on the web.
amazing speakers come together for speaches, discussion panels and just to connect and share. geraldine and loic lemeur and their amazing team are doing something very very important in my eyes for the european web and entrepreneur “scene” (if you pardon the expression). worldwide actually as they open up the european space to investors, comapanies and individuals all over the globe.
this is not the place to write an indepth review of leweb and there are much better and more qualified places to go for that, but let me only say how impressive leweb is and how it even got better from last year. throughout the whole spectrum. and as always it was the greates pleasure to meet people you follow, read and listen to on the web, like matt mullenweg, gary vaynerchuck, ben parr and so many others. it really is so great to see how kind and cool you all are.
thanks to all my friends and buddies that were and still are here for an amazing time!
thank you leweb, thank you geraldine, christophe, loic, marco and everyone I met for a great time and opportunity!
and now to the photos… I know it is a HUGE (insert alexia tsotsis giggle here) batch, but I think also worth it. I think you guys know by now, that my biggest weakness is to edit down the number of photos… so yeah. 🙂
hope you will enjoy these and feel free to post any feedback and comments either here or on flickr.
oh and at the end I will also add the photos of the wordpress meet up I attended yesterday evening with special guest matt mullenweg himself. who not only is a great and avid photographer, but also a nikon shooter 🙂 and we apparently use the same camera and lens for a lot of our shooting.
actually you can also play this slideshow if you want or just go through them here or on flickr directly…
all the best,
