“not that getting to hamburg was crazy enough… or that we have not seen a single soul… or single body for that matter now the car ran out of gas. and yes its my own effing fault. my mind is somehow somewhere else. not a conscious, but I think a more happy place.
we arrived in hamburg yesterday. we mixed the highway, freeway and small streets as our gut decided. so it took its time, but the surprise couldn’t have been any bigger when we arrived. hamburg is a ghost town… a real one. there is not one human or zombie or even corpse in town. not ONE. its like all hamburg people decided to leave all at once and did. left all lights going, cars all over and just beam up… maybe this is all some alien invasion or so. one thing its for sure… SCARY. we hopefully will be back with some gas for the car soon and running, because I want to get out of here.
I know! I should be happy, we could relax, let the guard down for once, not worry, do stuff we haven’t done in 10 weeks or longer, but I just don’t trust the situation. this is all too strange.
and its too effin’ cold. if at least winter would be over…
wish us luck! we still need it.”
